Jerry Moore Sr., born in Troup, Texas on December 29, 1938. He passed away in Livingston, Texas on December 29, 2023.

He is survived by Jerry Moore Jr, son, and wife Brandi; Debra Allee, daughter, and husband Kenny; four grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Grant, Rhiannon; three great granddaughters, Lynnleigh, Evie and Laikyn and
numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by Barbara Moore spouse, Worth and Ruth Moore parents, Waylon Ledbetter great-grandson.

Jerry was married to the love of his life, Barbara Moore, for 63 years till she went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2022. He was a lifelong member of Hidden Valley Church of Christ. He worked for the Houston Fire Department from September 9, 1966 to November 9, 1987. When not fighting fires he was a mechanic on the side. He was not just one of the most accomplished mechanics ever but was a “mechanical engineer,” carpenter, welder, metal worker and an electrician but above all else…he was dad and pawpaw.
