Shirley faithfully attended the Houston Methodist Tuesday Bible Study for years.  I starting doing this bible study after Minister Gloria Archie retired every Tuesday from 1:00-1:30PM.  Shirley would walk over from Texas Children's to attend faithfully on Tuesdays and I can't tell you how much she was a blessing and encouraged me to keep the Bible Study going even with a hand full of attendees.  When I found out she was retiring I had mixed emotions glad that she was retiring to enjoy more time with her family, church, and friends and also sad because I would miss her beautiful presence and she was beautiful inside and out.  Shirley just had a way  lighting up a room with her presence.  This beautiul and God fearing lady will always be remembered and I thank God for allowing me to know her and love her.  My prayers and condolences are with her precious family and friends.
