Stephen Denis Sheridan
Stephen Denis Sheridan, 76, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1947, in Ossining, New York. Stephen served his country in the Vietnam War and continued on in the United States Air Force for 22 years, achieving the rank of E-6 Technical Sergeant.
Stephen was a devoted family man, always ensuring his loved ones were taken care of. He had a great sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day and cherished spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. Stephen was a dedicated volunteer at the Eastex VFD and later at the Ponderosa Volunteer Fire Department, where he also served as a board member.
In addition to his military service, Stephen had a successful career with the United States Air Force and later at Antek and Fiberspar. His hobbies included motorcycle riding, especially on his beloved Honda Goldwing, and attending classic car shows with his family, showcasing his 1963 Plymouth Belvedere.
Stephen is survived by his stepsons: Robert, Ricky, and Ronnie Price; Sister Kathy Sheridan; Brothers Mike and Phil Sheridan; Grandchildren Brianna Price, Stephanie Little, and Daniel Price; Great-grandchildren Adelyn, Sophie, Kensie, Amylia, and Levi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis P. and Velma J. Sheridan; Wife Sandra A. Sheridan; and Sisters Karen Hardin and Barbara Pinto.
A viewing will be held on April 24, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 S. Houston Ave., Humble, TX 77396. The memorial service will take place on April 25, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., followed by a procession at 12:15 P.M. to Houston National Cemetery for interment at 1:00 P.M.
