Obituary for
Dennis David George
A true native Texan. Born November 21, 1946, and raised in on the small street of Morales Road in Houston Texas. He recounted stories found stories of his mom and dad and the many family gatherings they would host. Dennis graduated from Aldine High School in in 1964. He married Betty Mitchell in 1980 and together they raised their son Stephen Musella and daughter Kathryn George. This family has grown to now include seven grandchildren. He spent his career in the oilfield as a mechanical engineer, working for multiple companies, finally retiring from Worldwide Oilfield Machine in 2019.
Throughout his retirement he spent it “running errands” and spending time with his family. He loved his grandchildren immensely, he enjoyed attending his grandsons’ sporting events, hearing funny stories all of them would tell, and bragging about everyone’s accomplishments, all of which can be seen hanging in his office and photos on his fridge.
He is picture of a Texas man born of is time; he is a private man, a man of few words, a hardworking man, who dedicated his life to providing for his family. This quiet, strong, stubborn man will be missed. We will remember his love for politics, history, barbeque, and most of all us, though he did not always know how to show it, he showed it the way he knew how.
