Francisco Ramon Gonzalez
Frank Ramon Gonzalez, 82, of Pasadena, Texas passed away February 10th, 2024, in Pasadena, Texas after journeying well. He was born January 31st, 1942, to Francisco Toribio Gonzalez and Carmen Marichalar Gonzalez in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon Mexico.
He grew up in Baytown, Texas and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He attended Lee Jr. College and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He worked at the VA Hospital for over 30 years and retired. He then moved to Park Plaza Hospital where he eventually retired from in 2002.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandsons. As a young adult, he loved staying active by playing tennis and lifting weights. He was a huge fan of anything Stallone or Muhammed Ali. Going fishing with his son, maintaining his garden and listening to music were his favorite pastimes.
Frank is survived by his wife, Gloria Gonzalez of Pasadena, Texas, his son Marc Gonzalez (Cathy) and their son Matthew, his daughter Kristina Bowman (Riley) and their son Westleey Williams, his sister Mary Antonia Gonzalez and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Francisco Toribio Gonzalez, his mother Carmen Marichalar Gonzalez, his sister Rosa Neli Rodriguez, his brother Andrew Gonzalez and his grandson Everett Williams.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, February 15, 2024, to celebrate the life of this incredible husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Services will be held at the Connect Community Church at 4405 Crenshaw Road, Pasadena, Texas 77504. Family visitation will begin at 10am, followed by the memorial service at 11am. A reception luncheon will he held after the service.
