Beulah Ford (Hancock)
Beulah Mae Hancock, Bradshaw, Ford, 81 of Boone County, West Virginia, passed away on February 6, 2024, in Humble, Texas.
Beulah, affectionately known as Bea, was born at home in Keith, West Virginia to William and Mildred Hancock on March 3, 1942. She went to high school at Dupont High and graduated in 1960.
She worked as a Police Dispatcher and Dispatch Supervisor for the Humble Police Department and retired after 23 years of dedicated service.
She enjoyed cooking, taking cruises, playing online bingo, and spending time with family and friends. In her latter years she had a favorite saying that was associated with the physical act of clicking “ADD TO CART”.
She received numerous recognitions and commendations during her time at the Humble Police Department for her sincere dedication to the job, co-workers, and the citizens of Humble. She was also a longtime member of the Humble Chapter #415 Order of the Eastern Star.
Bea is survived by her son, Mark Bradshaw, and his wife Denice Bradshaw of Humble, Texas, Sister Carolyn Meadows and her husband George Meadows of Conway, Arkansas, Sister Ruby Holt, and husband Clyde Holt of North Logan, Utah and Brother, William Hancock Jr., and wife Darlene Hancock of Crystal River, Florida.
Grandchildren, Jess Matthew Bradshaw IV of Denton, Texas, and Mason James Bradshaw of Tarkington, Texas, along with numerous very loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jess Mattew Bradshaw III, Husbands, Jess Matthew Bradshaw Jr., and Donnie Ford. Parents, William and Mildred Hancock and sister Geneva Gray.
Funeral service will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Avenue, in Humble, Texas on February 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, same location. (Funeral will
