Obituary for Robert "Bob" Bailey Jr.

Robert "Bob" Bailey Jr.
Bob was born in Houston, Texas on October 29, 1942 and passed away in Houston on July 18, 2018.
He graduated from Lamar High School in Houston and continued his education at Texas Tech University before enlisting in the United States Army.
Bob served in Vietnam as an Intelligence Officer with the 101st Airborne, then completed college, earning his degree from the University of Houston. Bob was an avid supporter of Cougar sports and served as President of the Bauer School of Business Alumni Association.
Bob worked for several Oil Companies before becoming an independent Landman.
He loved to cook and often entertained friends at his home.
Bob enjoyed traveling especially his trips to St. Martin.
Unfortunately, he had to give up golf but replaced it with a strong passion for poker.
Bob will likely be remembered most for his dry sense of humor, and love of family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Marjorie and Robert Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Sue, his sister Michealle DeWinter (Jim), and daughters Dawn Williams, Juli Chorley (Martin), Kristin Dughman (Tim), and son Ronald Schooler (Laura), 9 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Memorial Services will be conducted by Reverend Margaret Williams at Rosewood Atascocita Chapel at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Interment will take place at Houston National Cemetery in Houston at a later date.
