Lorraine Lynch passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Humble, Texas. She was born November 9, 1920 in Indianola, Iowa to Edd and Maude Ross. She grew up on an Iowa farm and graduated from Indianola High School in 1938. Lorraine attended Simpson College for 2 years before beginning a modeling career in California. During World War 2 she worked at Douglas Aircraft Facility in Long Beach, California.

Lorraine and her husband Oliver Lynch moved to Humble, Texas in 1978 where she enjoyed gardening and volunteer work around the area. Lorraine Lynch is preceded in death by her husband Oliver Lynch, she is survived by her son Mickey Lynch and wife Marilyn, three granddaughters, Melissa Parish and her husband Justin, Melanie Klawunder and her husband Shawn, and Mallory Murphy and her husband Daniel. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Emilie Jean Klawunder and Avery Wren Parish.

A visitation of Lorraine’s family and friends will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2-5pm at Rosewood Funeral Home-Humble with services celebration her wonderful life on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 12:00pm. Concluding services Lorraine will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park.
