Dallie Bedford Mendel was born November 11, 1925 in Pt. Neches Texas. She passed away August 31, 2022 in Tomball Texas.

Dallie grew up in Tomball and Humble Texas and graduated from Aldine high school.

She worked at the Log Cabin along with her family in Humble Texas before marrying Ted Bedford in 1945. They had four children, Ron, Randy, Janice, and Jodonna. They remained married untl Ted's death in 2004.

In 1961 Ted and Dallie moved to Tomball Texas. In 1978 Dallie opened SimpleSimon Pie Shop and was famous for miles around as "The Pie Lady". 

In 2007 she married Clarence Mendel. They were happy together until his death in 2019.

Needing a little extra help Dallie was blessed with devoted cargivers through the years. Her neices Renee and Jane and also Maureen Drepaul , Marsha Staff, Brenda Whitworth and Joelle Edwards. These ladies were her angels and she truly loved them.

Family was the center of her life and she loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren with all her heart and her greatest joy was being surrounded by them on every holiday and birthday.

Dallie had a keen mind and had an honest opinion on most things. She loved to talk about the past as well as current events. She was fun to talk with and be with.

No words can say how much she will be missed by all. To know her was to love her and we were truly blessed everyday we had together.
