My Prayers go out to the family of Ethel. I met her when I joined the LWML group at Epiphany Lutheran Pearland. She always warmed my heart with her smile and enthusiasm and made me feel welcoming. She will truly be missed but I know she is hugging Our Lord and Savior with her warming smile! My deepest sympathy. Tammy Earley

My condolences to the family. I knew Mrs. Keys from Ascension,St.Matthew, and Epiphany congregations. l was also a classmate of Nancy. My life crossed paths with Keys thru these associations. Mrs.Keys always had that pretty warm smile. My heart is with the family on this loss. May God give you peace and comfort in knowing that Mrs.Keys was a child of God.

My heart is sad & heavy. I know Aunt Ethel, is now on the lap of Jesus & wrapped in His loving arms. May God surround you all with His love, warmth & comfort in the days/years to follow. Sending thoughts, prayers, love & hugs.

Story shared: Wedding Cakes of Texas & Iowa

Aunt Ethel made three special cakes for our wedding (Aug. 1987) The wedding cake, and then Groom's Cake(s); one cake was in the shape of Texas and the other was in the shape of Iowa. They were beautiful, but I noticed one was larger than the other. I was so touched as Aunt Ethel did not make the cakes to scale. She made Iowa bigger than Texas! I felt very welcomed into the family! She was pretty awesome in doing that! I thanked Aunt Ethel for her graciousness and kindness!

This past week, I also just made Aunt Ethel's cracker receipe with red peppers, ranch dressing, and canola oil! Hits the spot when you want something tasty and hot.

We give thanks to the Lord for the love Jesus put in Aunt Ethel's heart that she shared with her family, friends, church famlies, students, and many others.
