So sorry to see you go Mrs.Schott, but thank you for the love and compassion that you showed to all while you were here. Thank you for being a class act and a cornerstone of Humble's architecture for so many years. I hate to say goodbye so I'll just say "see you later". Enjoy your reward in Heaven and thank you again for everything. My condolences to Weldon, Marshall, and David. I know they'll miss their mom, all of us left behind will as well.

When we heard of Juanita’s passing, the first thing Ronnie said was that she was one of the last of his “Moms.” He has often reminieced about his childhood and how his band of brothers would convene every morning to indulge in whatever shenanigans they could think of from smoking club, gas can fires, flaming arrows etc., all the way to sundown seemingly unsupervised. But that was far from true. There was also a network of Moms who were good friends and unofficial guardian angels including Connie Robbins, Lorraine Hibbetts, Joyce Williams, Nadine Thames and Juanita Schott who kept an eye on them. They knew if any one of these “Moms” caught them in mischief, it might as well have been their own. Greatly influenced by this, they all made it to responsible adulthood. We lovingly remember Juanita as being a part of these guardian angels.

Wow! 93 years and 8 months. A wonderful, active and fulfilling life. Never saw Juanita when she wasn’t smiling. She’ll certainly be missed by all who knew her but leaves us with many good memories.
