Story shared: stuffed peppers

Generally, when Frank and Ann visited San Antonio, he came out to his sister Mary's home to see the goats and walk around the property. He usually brought pickles or preserves of some sort to share with us as well. However, on one occasion, he brought a couple of dozen individually sized red and purple bell peppers, and he said he had been thinking about his mother and how she used to make stuffed peppers. He wanted to try to recreate that dish, so we set to work to mix up the ground buffalo and ricehe had broght with him. I took us a while to get it just the way he wanted,but eventually we produced a delicious dish which we all shared that evening at a familyn dinner at Barbara's house. I will really miss these family events. Such warm memories.

Frank and Ann were a great team, whether they were square-dancing, gardening, or serving the Lord in a ministry. Frank very graciously made a video of my wedding, which required his running around and working up a sweat to follow us from arrival to the reception. He then shared that with us and it has become a treasure for me. Ann, I know your pain. I pray that the Lord will comfort and strengthen you daily, as you go forward. God bless.

I had known and loved Ann quite a while before I met Frank. Then I met Frank on the day he came over to cook for Adam & Megan’s wedding rehearsal dinner. It was apparent from the first moment I met Frank that he had a true servant heart. He settled in and went right to work on both the grill Carol owned and another one he loaned her so that all the food could be prepared. He did it all without the need for any fanfare, he was just there to serve. That was the moment I knew how special he was! While I lived too far to share in Frank and Ann’s lives with any regularity ~ I am very blessed to know them. Bless you Frank! Love you lots Ann!

This is my uncle he is and was one of the most wonderful people I know. I know he is a angel in heaven now, it has been very hard to say good bye to him. But I know now that he is in a much better place then we are. So uncle Frankie know that we love you so much and I pray that God be with my Aunt Ann she is such a wonderful person and both my cousins Troy and Kevin as they go through this very hard time.
