We met in junior high school at Aldine Jr. high. of course she did not like me then, in fact could not stand me. We met again years later, and I knew the min. I saw her that she was the one I wanted to spend my life with. A lot of folks at the time said it would not work, but it worked pretty well for 32 years that we have been together. We had planned to grow old together but God needed her home. The last 5 years of battling the cancer has one heck of battle. Sarah was a very strong woman to endure everything she had to endure. multiple surgeries and chem. in july of 2013 she was cancer free, then on Dec 24th 2014 we got the word that it was back in her liver and lungs. We started chemo right away and she endured 0ver 2 years of chemo treatments every other week for 3 days iin a row. . That takes toll on a body but she struggled thru it. All through this she never lost her faith in God. I don't know if I could have have done it. I have been with every min when not at work or grocery shopping. I would not have had any other way, I treasure every min spent with her. I feel lost, like a ship at sea without a rudder just adrift and at the mercy of the currents. I made the memorial service plans today and that was tough as well This has been the worst time of my life. I am making it one mim at a time.
This picture from our wedding was the happiest moment of both of our live because we had found true love. She was a specialI lady and I definitely got the better deal, she made me a better person. have bought her flowers every Friday for over 30 years, something I started and never stopped and she always had a smile when she saw them, even on those weeks when all we could afford was the $5.00 bunch at Kroger
