Ms. Overdiep was a pillar within the field of Vocational Rehabilitation but her impact is far greater. I grew up with Kathy, a classmate. Kathy was a true friend full of laughter. She was also the friend that was always there for you. She was also the true friend that was always honest with you. On days when I needed a "pick me up" I would go to Kathy's FB page. The way she told her situations always brought a smile...could even hear her laughter or see her smile through it. I met Kathy in junior high school. Her infectious laugh and smile made everything better. As adults we continued to keep in touch with each other.
