On February 4, 1932, Bobbie Ann Trout was a born the seventh child of Ebra Era Bradford and Thornt Trout in Montague County, Texas. Ebra Era was called Mama and Thornt was called Papa. At that time, they lived on a farm in Montague County, Texas. Papa played the piano at the community church services. It was also the gathering place for all the people in the farming community. There they worshipped, had picnics and gathered at the times of harvest. Most farms grew sugar cane. They would spend days in comradery with other farmers and take turns feeding the mill to extract the juices. Horses were used to rotate the press to extract the juices from the sugar cane. It was a time for play and happiness for all the children.
When Papa was out in the field working, Mama would send Bobbie Ann out to the uneven plowed fields to send lunch to Papa as he worked. Sometimes Bobbie Ann would fall down, mostly in a sitting position. She'd say, "Have a seat, Bobbie. Well, I don't mind if I do." Everyone had a good nature, and many happy times.
As Bobbie Ann grew and was in high school, she met George Weldon Fulmer. Theirs was a rocky endeavor. Weldon seemed to have to fight for everything to accomplish his goals. So, Bobbie Ann's good nature seemed to balance him.
Papa built a house in Bowie, Montague, Texas. Everyone helped with the finishing touches. Bobbie Ann climbed the scaffolds Papa built to do her part. Papa built The House with Seven Gables. One gable for each of his seven children.
On September 11, 1948, Weldon's brother wanted to be driven to Oklahoma so he could marry his sweetheart. On the way, Weldon stopped at Bobbie Ann's house. She answered the door. He asked if she wanted to get married. She said yes, and they all went to Oklahoma to get married. Then they drove back to Bobbie Ann's house and dropped her off. Then, Weldon and his brother, with his new wife, drove home. Two weeks passed, and Weldon wanted Bobbie Ann to come home with him. Bobbie Ann asked Mama if she could go home with Weldon. Mama said, "Since, you are married to him, I expect you ought to."
Bobbie Ann finished high school. Yet, she didn't get to her graduation. She was in the hospital having a little girl on May 25, 1949. They named her Pamela DiAnn. Pamela DiAnn now resides in Mesa, Arizona. When she grew up, she gave her four grandchildren. Lane Brian Smith, Jr., Corey Allyn Smith, Christina Bird, and Jillian Rigtrup. In turn, they gave her 17 great­ grandchildren.
Sarita Gail was her second child born April 2, 1956, now living in Porter, Texas. She gave
her a grandchild, Chalin Marie Garner.
Bobbie Ann and Weldon Fulmer had many adventures. One of which had them being secretly flown out of Venezuela ahead of the law. At one point, Bobbie Ann got tickled and started to laugh in a very serious situation. The pilot and Weldon couldn't understand what was so funny. She said, "I am having an adventure."
As her mortal body gave up life to immortality February 1, 2021, her immortal-self carries on to a better adventure in the spirit world. There she can laugh with loved ones, and prepare for a better time yet to come. We all know Families are Forever. The best is yet to be.
