Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Blackwell's passing. I had gotten to know him over the last few years as a favorite customer of mine at the bank where I work in Rogers, AR. He would pop in occasionally on his way to or from pickle ball. Always pleasant and full of warmth and laughter. Bragged about his children and shared old teaching stories with us. His presence here will be deeply missed. Prayers for all during this difficult time.

Condolence: I played football with Roger while we were at Great Bend High School. When I think about Roger, I remember his kind of impish smile along with his playfulness and laughter in the company of fellow students and staff. He had the highest integrity and could be counted on when you needed him (e.g. making another touchdown when having a trailing score with an opposing team).

To Roger's family, friends: I can't of a worse time to lose a loved than during a traditional holiday like X-Mass. Our special condolences go out to each of you during this very stressful, difficult time. Time will heal.

Condolence: Along with hundreds of other kids in Roger’s hometown (Great Bend KS), I watched Roger play point guard on his high school basketball court with unbelievable energy and outstanding skill & speed! Take Roger in your arms Lord Jesus! He’s one of ours!

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a teacher to most of our family in school (there were 8 of us, 7 of us had him for either a teacher or a coach). And he became my house insurance agent some years later. He was the sweetest man, always upbeat and quick with a smile or a cute joke. I feel for your family, may God bless you in this time of grief
