Obituary for Richard Curtiss Watson

Richard Curtiss Watson
Richard Curtiss Watson was born July 25, 1956 in Houston TX to Charles W. and Betty Cloud Watson and received his angel wings October 11, 2018. "Ricky Dale" as he was called was the baby of our family. In 1975 at the age of 18 he joined the US Army and was received an honorable discharge in 1977. In doing so he was able to see many beautiful places such as Germany and France. Years later he married his true love, Patricia who preceded him in death. He was a person with such deep love and devotion but sometimes found it difficult to express it, but at about 5:30am every morning you could find him outside tending to the plants in Mama's yard. He loved watching things grow and would say to me many times he was in awe of God's beauty. Many people are left here with deep sadness but smiles in remembering him; those being his most loving Mother - Betty Ford, Brother Charles Watson, Jr. (Joyce), Sister Marsha Kay Gonzalez (Robert) and MANY nieces and nephews. I thanked my husband Robert the other day for loving Ricky and he replied - it was easy. My brother's wife Joyce made it a point of making sure she told him she loved him. Gone before him is our Father, Charles W. Watson, Sr. and Stepfather, James L. Ford. It broke our hearts to see you suffer. We LOVE you and eagerly look forward to the day we see you again.
