Olga Neoma Parmer, 97, of New Caney went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was born Saturday, July 30, 1921 to Thomas and Clara Mitchell Olga is preceded in death by parents; husband, Jimmy Parmer; siblings, Lurlene Thrall, Brice Mitchell, Doris Vaughn. She is survived by her son; James Ken Parmer and wife Suzanne; granddaughter Angela Armitage and husband John; great-granddaughter, Jenna Armitage; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A Graveside Service will be 11:30 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Nacogdoches, Texas. Olga retired from Henke Pillot/Kroger after over 34 years of service in accounting. She was employed as a Comptroller but worked at other positions in her service with Kroger. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of New Caney, Texas. Her interests included travel with Jimmy, family reunions, playing bingo at the nursing facility and of course, working her crossword puzzles. In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to Second Baptist Church - North Campus Kingwood Texas to the benevolence fund in her memory.
