Obituary for Athalie Moore (Brundage)

Athalie Moore (Brundage)
Athalie Nadine Moore, of Pasadena, TX, was born in Kansas City, MO, on December 13, 1933, to Herbert Brinton Brundage and Nadine Rainey Brundage. She was called to her heavenly home on July 16, 2018 with
family by her side.

Athalie is survived by her loving husband, Sam, of 67 years, as well as her five sons and spouses; David and Debby Moore of Lake Jackson, Texas; Gary and Carla Moore of Humble, Texas; Brint and Ellaine Moore of Crosby, Texas; Russell and Carol Moore of Cummings, Georgia: and Steven Moore and Lynn Rich of Pontiac, Illinois. Athalie was also blessed with thirteen wonderful Grandchildren and fifteen Great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and was extremely proud of.

Athalie will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love of family, friends, and nature. God’s beauty displayed in flowers and birds meant the world to her. Athalie was totally dedicated in raising their 5 sons singlehandedly, while Sam was on the road, without ever learning to drive a car. She loved to sing and listen to Blue Grass music, especially that of her son Russell of IIIrd Tyme Out. Athalie loved to spend time baking and will be most remembered for her homemade pies and cakes that she graciously shared with family and friends.

Most of all Athalie loved spending time with Sam, the love of her life for 67 years! She was the happiest just spending quiet time and reminiscing of times gone by with “Grandpa”. Athalie will always be remembered as a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandma, full of Love and Grace and is now enjoying time free of sickness with her heavenly Father.
