Carol Ann Alswede, 67, passed away on April 25, 2018, after a long and valiant battle against breast and leiomyosarcoma cancers. She was born on December 1, 1950, in Waukesha, WI. Carol graduated from Waukesha High School Central Campus and later graduated summa cum laude with a degree in accounting from Lone Star College. Carol was married to Maurice W. Alswede at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on April 23, 1977, and was a Kingwood resident the remainder of her life. Carol finished her career as an executive admin. at Chevron Phillips, The Woodlands, Texas.
Carol is survived by her husband Maurice Alswede of Kingwood, TX and her daughter Ann Jirari and husband Bachir; son Ryan Alswede and wife Whitney; daughter Marilyn Hunt and husband Doug; and daughter Martha Madigan and husband Ryan. Her grandchildren are Issac Jirari (deceased), Dylan Hunt, James Hunt, Emily Alswede, Liam Madigan, Charlotte Alswede, and Emma Hunt. Her parents George and Rosalind Bradee preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on April 30th at the Rosewood Memorial Funeral home in Atascosita. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on May 1st at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, Kingwood, TX.
