Ruth E. Cain, 89, passed away February 10, 2018. She was born in Madison County, Texas on November 26, 1928. Ruth was a long time resident of Porter, Texas. She retired from Marsh & McLennan after many years of service. Ruth was a faithful longtime member of Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard “Lennie” Cain Jr.; parents, William Alonzo and Cora Phillips; a step daughter, Gail Kristinik and a great grandson, William Jace Cain.
Ruth is survived by her children, Paul Cain and wife, Trish, Karen Nichols, Carmen Cain, W. David Cain and wife, Joanna, Diane Green and husband, Mark, James Q. Cain and wife, Dalana; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joyce Naumann; other family members and friends.
The Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, 5-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter, Texas. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 1 PM at Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Porter, Texas.
